During my time as Special Projects Manager at Digital Harbor Foundation, one of our students was asked to present at the White House Science Fair. Jacob Leggette was only nine years old, and had big ambitions to start his own toy business using digital manufacturing.

I worked with Jacob to design his display for the science fair, complete with light-up backdrop, display platforms, and signage in his own handwriting. When President Obama came by to test out Jacob’s 3d printed bubble wand, it became a gif-able internet sensation.
